Going to Milan in mid-September for two weeks or so -
Recommended reasonably priced hotels near the central train station?
And has anyone taken the Milan to Paris train (now operating again)? How was it?

We just stayed at the Hotel Berna in the spring, less than a block from the train station. Staff are wonderful, with a great breakfast and happy hours. The room frig has complimentary soft drinks. A few steps beyond this hotel are restaurants, many with outdoor seating. The hotel is part of several rewards/ points programs. Have a great trip!

In case you need another option, Hotel Garda is a few doors down from Hotel Berna and is also reasonably priced and convenient.
