Looking for a good hotel to stay 2 nights in Milan in May before starting a RS tour. Preferably not too far from the train station. Thanks for any suggestions

We always stay at Hotel Berna on Via Napo Torriani 18 about 500 meters from the Stazione Centrale. You can check with venere.com for client reviews from people who have actually stayed there. The hotel provides the best breakfast in Milano. It is a 4 star property and we really like the place. When we were checking in in 2010 the new hotel employee asked if this was our first time and I told him it was about the 15th. Also agree with Hotel Berna. Quick walk to the train station, clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast.

Another vote for Hotel Berna. We stayed there in May and will be going back next spring. We arrived on the train and went to the row of taxis with the name and address of the hotel written on a piece of paper. I gave the paper to the driver(I write it out in case they don't speak English) and he pointed and said "walk". The hotel is only about three blocks from the train station, which is beautiful by the way.
