We are arriving at Malpensa around noon on 5/11. I am looking for a hotel for two nights in Milan. We are leaving for Cinque Terre on 5/13, so a hotel near fairly close to the train station might be fine.
Suggestions?

Hotel Berna and Hotel Garda are popular with many on this forum and they’re both very close to Milano Centrale.

I can't say enough good things about the Hotel Berna.. We have stayed there twice. I think you will find others on this forum enjoyed it ,as well! Have fun!

Another vote for Berna. And the annex is fine. Easy access to metro and, of course, the station.

I'd also recommend Hotels Berna or Garda. Both are within easy walking distance to Milano Centrale. I timed the walk from Garda on one occasion and if I remember correctly, it was about five minutes.

Hotel Garda is right across the street from Hotel Berna and the costs are a bit less. I love this location
I have stayed a both hotels..... you can see photos of interior and exterior of both on tripadvisor.com
