We are planning a few nights in Camogli in October. I visited the town many years ago and would like to return, but the lodging I used back then is undiscoverable now! Anyone have any hotels they love? We are considering Hotel La Camogliese - but wonder if anyone has been to Camogli recently? We will be arriving and departing by train.
Cenobio dei Doge was lovely....
This is actually in a hamlet above Camogli, but it’s not a difficult trek by foot or bus/taxi. It was under different management when I stayed there but the location and view is just stellar: Villa CieloMare.
We were in Camogli this past May and stayed in an Airbnb. A friend stayed at La Camogliese at the same time. She did not have any complaints, but would say it did not meet a “wow” factor. Said the breakfast was good. I think it was comfortable enough, but small. There is a creek running underneath and she could hear it rushing when it rained at night. There is a nice restaurant called La Camogliese near the hotel, but not related. We had a seafood risotto there that was really good. We loved our Airbnb condo called Lauren’s House. It was modern, sparkling clean and comfortable.on the 3rd floor, so 4 flights up, but worth it! Especially liked the small, very efficient washing machine! Have fun in Camogli! It’s very beautiful!
Thanks all - these are helpful.
Just FYI for mid-October the nightly rates in 2026:
*Cenobio dei Dogi: $550/night
*Hotel La Camogliese $161/night
*Lauren’s House Airbnb: $154/night
*Cielo Mare: Sold out (I like it though - so saving for the future - thank you.)
I have a couple more that I am considering:
*Soffio di Mare: $206/night
*B&B Casa Ninni: $173/night
*Albergo Augusta: $150/night
I will report back! Thanks again.
In case this is helpful, I have decided on Albergo Augusta https://www.albergoaugustacamogli.it/
The rate in October comes in at $160/night with breakfast. The rooms look modern and indeed the hotel says it was recently renovated. The location looks good for us as well.
Thanks for responding!
