hotels in Alpe di Siusi

That is definitely shoulder season so it should not be a problem. We stayed up there in mid-summer some years ago and of course it was fully booked. Last year we went back and stayed in Val Gardena, in the town of Santa Cristina from September 23-26. I chose the most favored place on Tripadvisor and reserved well in advance. We were the only guest with reservations. They had a couple of drop-ins the first two nights, but were alone on the final night. Nevertheless they prepared a wonderful dinner for us, and a nice breakfast the next morning. They closed up that day.

I see the hotels up on Alpe di Siusi stay open longer--until mid-October for the places I checked. That means they expect more guests, and I am sure they won't be empty. But they likely won't be full either, especially if you make your visit mid-week.
