Sorrento - both expensive
Boutique hotel - La Minervetta (bed and breakfast only)
Traditional full service hotel - Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria. (Had tea with someone staying there and their bathroom was larger than some hotel bedrooms I have seen!)
Edit - there is a brand new hotel in Sorrento that is getting rave reviews - Grand Hotel La Favorita
