Hotels close to Naples airport

At that time of morning, it is only a ten minute cab ride from downtown--no need to stay at airport!
I stayed at Hotel Piazza Bellini, and they booked the taxi for me. There is a set price (memory fails, did not break the bank), and it was honored.

Another vote for the Piazza Bellini; we stayed there this past June, and loved it. Great staff, good restaurants nearby, and close tothe archeological museum and metro stops.

I stayed at B&B Lex Room Santa Lucia and there is a taxi stand across the street, which I used early in the morning to get to the airport (10 minute drive). It's a great place to stay! There's a balcony with a sea view and you can see part of vesuvio

All taxi trips to the airport in Naples are a fixed-rate, although there are some aggressive drivers who try to collect luggage fees that are not appropriate. You may be more comfortable if you download the fixed-rate sheet and print it out. Even better is to have your hotel doorman give the destination and confirm the fare, even though you know the driver knows the word "airport!"

I would not expect many hotels in Italy to have its own shuttle service to the airport, or one that starts at 5AM, even if they do contract with a third-party transport company.!
