We are looking for a place to stay in Rome and come across the place call "Relais Casa della Fornarina". We couldn't find a review anywhere, should we take a leap of faith and reserve a room?
kelly,,, when I find a hotel I want to know more about I always google the name,, you will invariably find a reveiw somewhere,,there are many,, many sites.
Tripadvisor is of course a great site,, but I also look on various others. All trip reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt.
The info on the Trip Advisor is straight from hotel website. Pics look really nice so we booked it anyway. Thanks for the response though. The hotel is in Trastevere, any comment or suggestion for the area?

Kelly - Please check out it out - Located directly at The Spanish Steps it is a very nice Hotel - My friends Emanuel and Emanuella work the front desk. Easy walking to The Trevi Fountain, The Via Veneto , and The Roman Forum. And, of course, from The Via veneto you can pick up an open air bus and tour the major sites of the city , getting off and back on as often as you like.
Ciao, Greg
Greg, thanks for the suggestion. The place looks really nice but it is a little over the budget and we want to stick with it because we will travel outside Rome too.
