If the room is stated as having a "garden view" does it also have a view of the sea? I am able to book for 145E. In the US garden view means parking lot and trash cans! Thanks!

Probably the best thing for you to do is email Matteo or Carla directly at the Villa Steno and make sure you have the room you want: http://www.villasteno.com/. Just ask for a room with a terrace. But I believe all rooms have partial sea views (you see part garden, part town and part sea). It is a very charming place to stay (though it is fairly expensive like most Cinque Terre hotels). The owners are genuinely caring, the rooms are small and simple but tasteful; the small bathrooms are nicely outfitted in the modern Italian way. Sitting on the terrace (with your two little chairs and little table) is magical morning, early evening and late night. I hope you have a fantastic time.
