Hotel to stay at in Venice so that we can make an early flight from Marco Polo airport

We have an early morning flight from Venice to head back home, and I'm concerned that it will be hard to get there in time.
Are there hotels near Marco Polo airport that you recommend we stay?

----Update: Thanks so much for quick response and great suggestions. We have booked at the Titian. And now my stress level for making my flight has gone way down. Plus I can sleep in. This is the first time I've used this forum. I was so pleased that I got an answer so quickly and got such great advice.

Water taxis will take you from your hotel to the airport for an early morning flight. Yes, early early will cost you more, but it's a decision you'll have to make.

If you go to Google.com/maps and put "Marco Polo Airport" in, you'll get a map of the airport vicinity.
Go in and hit "+" "+" to magnify the map and the area hotels will show up as icons. You can click on the hotel icons to get to their websites, and prices will be shown. There are a bunch of lesser priced accommodations within 3 miles of the Venice Airport--B&B's and agriturismos, too.

I often find rooms, restaurants and other businesses using Google Maps magnified.

I just got back from our trip, and was really impressed with the Best Western Titian Airport Hotel. Room was very luxurious for a Best Western. Free shuttle to airport was great. You can take the no. 5 bus from Piazza Roma bus station in Venice and get off ~2 stops before airport and get within two blocks from the hotel.

A few things I discovered about getting to Venice Airport:

You can get to airport by public water transit, but it's not included in the public transit/Vaporetto pass. It's a different line called Alilaguna and costs ~16 Euro per person. This is could be a good option if you are near one of the pickup places. Our hotel was not far from the Novo Fondemente station, so it worked for us. Plan on this option taking a good long while. We looked at the map and it seemed like few stops and a straight shot to the airport, but in fact, it took ~40 minutes. Also, once you get the Airport station, PLAN ON A 10 MINUTE WALK from the station to the actual airport. Plan ahead to allow plenty of time, so you're not freaking out.

A better option, if you're near Piazza Roma (the bus station) is the no. 5 bus to the airport. It's fast. It drops off 200 feet from the door of the airport (no 10-minute walk). Cost is free if you've bought the public transit/vaporetto pass.
