We will be staying in Reggio Calabria for two nights before taking the Ferry to Sicily.
We will have a car. We are looking for ideas on where to stay that offer free parking and good WiFi. A/C as well. Any ideas? We like to walk into town for dinner. Rather not take the car around after we check in.

I can’t comment on a place to stay in Reggio Calabria, but can highly recommend our favorite hotel in Maratea. We spent 2 nights here on a culinary tour of southernItaly&Sicily.https://www.locandamonache.com/ Wonderful food & accommodation! We stopped in Reggio Calabria (2.5 hrs) from Maratea. We stopped at the amazing Archeological Museum to view the famous bronzes of Riace. A must see if you are interested in Ancient Greece. Prior to boarding the ferry we stopped at Gelateria Cesare for their delicious Gelato.

Thanks so much for your help! We are excited to hopefully travel again. The hotel you suggest will be for our return after Sicily, but I have made a note of it. We love gelato, so will take your advice and try it before the ferry ride
