My husband and I are vacationing in Rome October 30, and leaving November 30, 2012. Does anyone have a fovorite hotel that is very reasonable for about 100 Euro?

Did you consider an apartment rental??To me that is best way to go if going to be there a month, you can cook breakfast, have room to move around, etc. Try VRBO, we used them in several countries with great luck.

For a one month stay I would definitely recommend an apartment. It will likely be less expensive, you will have more space and you can save money eating some of your meals in if you are so inclined. I use vrbo.com and homeaway.com to find apartments. People on the board who have rented in Rome may be able to provide information about specific apartments.

I am sorry I got the dates wrong. We will be in Rome October 30 to November 5, 2012. We have rented apartments before but not as resonable for only the two of us.

Okay, a week vs. a month is a big difference! I have still saved money in an apartment with two people. Anyway, we stayed at Downtown Accomodation located on Via Cavour, a few blocks from the Coloseum. They are currently showing rates of 65€-135€ for a double with ensuite bath. We were there in September 2010 and paid 70€ per night.
