Hotel Recommendations - Florence

Any recommendations for hotels in Florence? Travelling for 4-5 days in September prior to moving on to Camogli. Currently laning towards Market Urban Hotel, Globus Hotel, or TSH Florence Lavagnini but we have never been to Florence, so would love to hear some suggestions.

Thank you!

It depends on what you’re looking for. We’re a party of three so family room or suite is essential. Also look for free breakfast. This ticked our boxes plus really close to the center. And great reviews on TripAdvisor!!

We are staying at the Hotel Davanzati. No elevator, but they take your bags for you.

Before I started renting, I always stayed the Hotel Bargellino. Not too far from train station and has the most fabulous terrace where all the guests mingle!

Hi, I'm wondering what hotel you choose for your September trip.
We're looking for a nice hotel, location flexible, for 4 nights in early September.
We will book 2 rooms for our family of 4.
I'm a light sleeper and sleep is important to me so, good beds are a priority.
Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion, Marc.
It is a lovely hotel and I wish I hadn't waited so long to book since they are sold out.
I'm looking at Hyatt affiliates since we have some points.
IL Tornabuoni Hotel looks nice.

Loved Hotel Sillia from Rick's book.
Feels more like a neighborhood but only a few minutes from the Arno and Uffizi, etc.

We stayed at Hotel il Bargellino as well, and loved it! We travelled as a family with our two grown (20 and 22 years old)“children” and stayed in one room, with a private bathroom and air con. The terrace was fantastic and we had drinks there every evening. The owners, Carmel and Pino were very warm and welcoming. Easy walk from the train station and everything we wanted to do. I look forward to staying there again. Also, the restaurant across the street, Osteria Vecchio Cancello is on our list of places to eat again (reservations needed).

Thanks OP for asking, I have been searching the forum for suggestions. Thanks for the Hotel Perdini Suggestion, I just booked for our dates in October. The website had a higher price than Booking.com by about $300, so I went with Booking.

Unfortunately we ended up cancelling our trip due to how busy we are with renos & not having quite enough vacation time.

But we rescheduled our Europe trip and we're going to Barcelona/Ireland which will be fantastic. Hoping to plan an Italy trip for Fall 2023.
