Just need a night for layover in Rome. Any recommendations near the airport?

Airport Hilton Rome is right next door, with a pedestrian walkway to terminals
(Not the Hilton Garden Inn)

Hilton. There are 2. We stayed at the one off site. Great hotel. Good restaurant. 10 minute free shuttle rod to the airpor. Is better rate than the Hilton next to the airport

Check prices at both Hilton Airport and Hilton Garden Inn.
Sometimes the Garden Inn (offsite about 5-10 min from the terminal) has higher rates.

We've used condos across from the Mall in the past and took the train from the airport to it ... then took a cab to fly out .... some hotels charge for the shuttles ...

Hilton Garden Inn is on the airport shuttle loop, quick and easy trip to / from the hotel.

We used the Hilton right at the airport in January 2012, for being right on-site for an extremely early flight the next morning. Very quiet, comfortable room, great bathroom for showers at 4:30 AM. Didn’t get to have their breakfast, as it was so early when we departed the hotel. I’d use it again in an i start.
