Can you recommend a nice hotel in the central part of Florence? I would prefer a 3-4 star hotel or similar accomodation.

Yes , Hotel Centrale on the Via de Conti right around the corner from the Duomo . Absolutely beautiful place , great breakfast , clean as a whistle , and graveyard quiet at night . I'd go back there in a heartbeat !!

We loved the Monna Lisa. My husband thought it was one of our best ever. Lovely gardens and breakfast room. Great location.
