Hello All,
Does anyone have a hotel reccomendation for Bolzano?
I checked Ricks book and Frommers. None of their suggestions seem that attractive for us. We'd like a traditional clean/quiet albergo close to the town center with parking.

Hello Steve,
Thank you for responding to my inquiry. We just might settle on one of the reccomendations in one of the books. The hotels that are listed appear to lack a certain amount of alpine charm.
In 2009 we stayed 5 nites at Hotel Zum Wolf in Castlerotto-- great place!
We will actually be leaving the Dolomites- after spending about 5 nites in the region. Bolzano will be a launching pad for quick access to the Autostrada and our next destination which will be Gaiole in Chianti about an optimistic 5 hour drive.
We spent a day in Bolzano in '09 and love the place and people.
