Hotel Panda in Rome-know anything about it?

The pictures on trip advisor are not very appealing but it has a good location plus AC...your advice?

I do not know the hotel Panda, however, we were just in Rome and had a fabulous experience at Hotel Oceania. Stefano and his staff do a wonderful job. He tells us that 90% of his customers are referred from Rick Steves. Very clean and neat. We would stay there again without question. www.hoteloceania.it I hope this helps!

You can find previous reports on this hotel by typing Panda in the search box. Many reviews have been posted. The majority have been positive. I stayed there last April in a double without bath. Loved it. The room looked to be newly redecorated. Bathroom very clean and close by the room. Staff accomodating.
Location great. Didn't use AC. It was too early. Construction of an elevator going on near stairs, but workers kept area clean and noise was minimal. I expect they're finished now. Regards.

I stayed there 2 summers ago. I first heard about it from my Florentine boyfriend, as it's usually the place he stays on trips to Rome. The staff, rooms, and building are nice. I think we even had a nice fresco on the ceiling. I remember distinctly that there is no elevator, the street was closed to car traffic, and that they don't have cribs for babies (but I haven't found a hotel in Italy that does anyway).

I stayed there in Sep '08. It's not going to be the highlight hotel stay of your trip, but the price and location are excellent. I would definitely stay there again
