Hotel or Air BnB recommendations in Bologna centro area.

Rick has no info in guide books on Bologna. Planning a trip in October. Our previous stay at Hotel Touring has remodeled and is now out of our price range. Medium priced hotels or air Bnb are fine. 2 adults. Thanks to all in advance! Can't wait to have some tortellini!

We stayed at an airbnb directly across from Santa Maria dei Servi on Strada Maggiore. Not right in the center but easy walking distance to everything. If you like, I will pm the info.

Sorry for the long link.
It was immaculate, within walking distance of Bologna Centrale, near a supermarket, and you could walk to the main centre in about 25 minutes.
We loved it.
The sofa bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in!
It also had a little balcony with plenty of trees around it.
