FOUR OF US ARE LEAVING FOR ITALY IN APRIL, ONE OF OUR STOPS IS VENICE FOR TWO NIGHT, AS I UNDERSTAND WE ARE NOT ON THE MAIN ISLAND BUT OFF ON A LITTLE ISLAND CALLED THE LIDO. ALBERGO GIARDINETTO, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON THIS HOTEL AND IS IT IN A GOOD AREA OF VENICE?

The Lido is where people go if they want to swim at the beaches. The main island of Venice has no beach. Also, no cars will be found on the main island while there WILL be cars on the Lido. The Lido is OK. Next time, try to get on the main island of Venice if you can.
