Has anyone stayed at Hotel Oceania in Rome, Italy? Please tell me your opinion of the hotel, what you liked, what you did not like. Would you stay there again? How was the breakfast and the room? How was the breakfast? Did it have a lobby and free internet? Did you enjoy your stay there? I have stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen twice, but was thinking of staying somewhere else when I return to Rome. I know the area and where the metro is so I would like to stay in the same area. It is close to the train station too. Thank you for your comments.

We stayed there in March both at the beginning and at the end of our trip in Italy- would definitely stay again. Price was reasonable,rooms were very comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, etc. A gracious hotel. The location was great. It has a very small lobby area. There is free internet. Breakfast was very good- typical italian offerings- much better than a lot of places but not an excellent or top breakfast experience. Coffee was great. The only thing I would caution you about is that you NOT get one of the rooms right next to the lobby. You can hear the door buzzer when folks are coming in late at night and voices in the lobby area. Be sure to ask for a room away from the desk. We were placed in this room and when we asked for another room, they graciously relocated us. We had a 5:30AM taxi to the airport and they made sure we had coffee. juice and a croissant before we left. Not a full breakfast selection, but we sure did appreciate them taking care of us that way.

Stayed there last year. Good location, breakfast, comfortable. No surprises. I would stay again.
