I will only be in Rome 2 nights coming off a tour Which hotel is most comfortable, ac, good breakfast?

Haven't used either but our favorite hotel in that area is Hotel Sonya with a great breakfast. Have also stayed at Aberdeen which is equal good but wife believes that the lattes at Sonya are better.

I stayed at Hotel Italia. It was comfortable, but the breakfast was mediocre. Everything else was fine.

We stayed at Hotel Italia last month. PLEASE take the advice in RS' book and ask for the rooms in the main hotel not the annex. The location was great, they spoke English and their car service from the airport was a terrific treat. Staggered off the flight and into a comfy Mercedes driven by a very nice English speaker.

Thank you for your response. I will write to them immediately. Unfortunately, when you are a single traveler, you don't get first or even second class treatment too often.

Have not stayed at the Hotel Italia yet...will be there in 3 weeks...they have been very helpful by email to this point
