Can anyone tell me of a convenient hotel to stay at for one night near the airport in Florence. I will be in Italy for a month and my husband is coming to meet up with me however I was unable to get him on my flight going back home so he will need to stay one additional day and would like it convenient to the airport. He leaves at 7:30am the day after me and would like a place close enough to get a taxi or shuttle from the hotel. Doesn't have to be anything much, just clean and a place to sleep.

Wendy, check out the Novotel Firenze Nord Aeroporto. Less than 1 mile from the airport. Check on the hotel shuttle as I believe the earliest is 830a, but is a short taxi ride. Happy travels!
