We're debating a one-night stay near Rome Termini.
Hotel El Major has some mixed reviews. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

We stay in that area frequently. We like Hotel Sonya -- directly across from the front of the Opera House. Good breakfast, great lattes, nice rooms. Just two, three blocks SW of Termini. Aberdeen is very good but six or seven blocks away.

We just booked 4 rooms for one night at the Best Western Hotel Raffaello. It's a few blocks away but, for us, that's ok. It does allow us to get around Rome on our last day in Italy before heading to FCO the next morning. Of course, we'll be kicking and screaming all the way to the airport.
