I have a 6:15am flight out of Malpensa Airport and I am having a difficult time finding a reasonable hotel near the airport. I'm not sure if the trains will run at 4am in order to stay further away from the airport. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I just booked a room at the Hotel Cervo for 100 euros for a double for Sept. 8. It's recommended in Rick Steves's Italy 2007 (Malpensa Airport section, p. 263.) Reviews I read on another site were also positive. Unlike some of the places I have been emailing, they answered my inquiry promptly: [email protected]
I'm delighted, by the way, becaquse there is both a major convention and a major tennis tournament going on in Milan in early September, and nothing is to be found in town for under 200 euros, even hotels listed as normally charging 100 euros. I was being offered hotels for 400, 500, and 600 euros!

We stayed at this hotel last year after ending a Rick Steves tour. It is a short walk from the train station. We took a shuttle to the airport, but it was mid-morning, not 4 am as is your situation. Don't know what your budget is, but check the above web site. The room was very nice and the hotel personnel was courteous and helpful. Good luck!
