Hotel near Malpensa airport

Sorry if this question has been asked many times but using the search function seems to list most posts from 7 to 15 years ago. We will be flying to Cagliari Sardinia at 7:10AM from MXP and need a hotel recommendation near the airport. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Nearby dinning options a plus.

I've always stayed at the Best Western Cavalieri della Corona, which has a restaurant inside.
Any hotel near the airport will do, since you are there just for catching the flight early morning the next day. Unless you have a car, I suggest you choose one with a restaurant because the airport is pretty much isolated out of town and there aren't many restaurant options other than the restaurants in the hotels.

My daughter and I stayed at Osteria Della Pista the night before our flight back to Australia. We had a flight from Naples back to Milan that night, which was delayed by several hours, we let them know, and they came to pick us up with no problems. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport, breakfast is included and they have a very good restaurant where we ate that night.
Their website is - osteriadellapista.com. Only thing is I not sure what time the shuttle service starts in the morning.

We used to stay at the Holiday Inn Malpensa, which is about 5 min from the airport. Decent hotel, inexpensive, but they no longer offer shuttle service to Malpensa. They serve breakfast but have no restaurant on site.

For convenience, we now stay at the Sheraton MXP, which is located in Terminal 1. There is a restaurant on site and obviously it's very convenient to the airport.

Not a hotel, but we have stayed here a few times before early morning flights out of MXP. The host is wonderful. She has picked us up at the airport after dropping our car and she will arrange for an early morning taxi to MXP (a five to 10 minute drive). She will make reservations for you at a little locals restaurant across the street. This b&b is surrounded by forrested land (who knew?) This has always worked very well for us as we feel like we are still on vacation our last night before flying home.

We also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Loved it! Inexpensive and nice. Can't comment on dining, though.

Best Western Cavalieri della Corona,

Cannot comment about the restaurant, as when we were there we ate in Milan before heading to the airport and having their shuttle pick us up there. Nice rooms, comfy bed and the convenient shuttle made it a winner. Friendly pricing as well.

Unlike Roberto I have only one visit, but understand why he would be a repeat cusromer.

Thanks to all replies. We chose the Sheraton MXP. With the member account and no breakfast the total cost was $164. Since it is in terminal 1 where are flight leaves it was the most convenient. We'll have a light breakfast once past security.
