Can anyone recommend a hotel near Florence (FLR) airport? My wife and I are flying out early in the morning (7am departure) and we would like a hotel convenient to the airport. Thanks in advance. Robert

Stay in the historical center. The airport is so close to the city center you can hear the jet engines revving up. It's a 10-15 min taxi ride in the morning and all you need is to be there by 6am for check in on a European flight. You'll be flying a 100 seater regional plane, not the A380.
