It looks like I'm gonna have a really early flight out of Florence. Can anyone recommend a hotel near the airport?

The airport in Florence is not very large and not very far from "historic" Florence. The last time we flew out of there, we also had an early morning flight. We made arrangements with our bed and breakfast right by the Duomo for a taxi to pick us up about 2.5 hours before our flight time. Taxi was on time and it only took about 15 minutes at that time of morning.

I asked this same question! After looking at the hotels close to the airport(really none of the reasonably priced ones got great reviews) I've decided to go with Judys recommendation. Not sure what time your flight is at but ours is 7:20. I'm thinking if we're to the airport by 6 or a little earlier we should be good. Apparently it's a small airport...
