I have an early morning flight out of FCO and need a recommendation for a nice, clean hotel with decent/reliable shuttle service to the airport. Suggestions?

We've stayed at the Mariott 3 times. Easy shuttle service.

Have you considered the Rome Airport Hilton? It doesn't get much easier than that, and no need for a shuttle.

I booked, but then cancelled, this one: Amelindo Residence. They have a shuttle service, the price was right, and the rooms looked decent. In the end, though, I decided to stay one more night in downtown Rome to avoid one last packing and moving exercise. I walked out the front door at 4:00 am heading to the taxi stand down the block, when an available licensed cab stopped right in front of me before I had taken a step. 48 euros and 20 minutes later, I was at the curb at FCO. Cheaper and easier than moving. I was happy with my choice, but Amelindo still looks decent if that's your preference or if you're not already in Rome in the days before your flight.
