Hotel Near Fiumicino Airport thats not ridiculously expensive?

We stayed at a hotel in the little resort town of Lido di Ostia which was less than a 15 min. drive to the airport. We found it by doing a search at venere.it or. com.

We stayed at the Rodrigo de Vivar in Ostia Antica. It was a 10 minute ride to the airport by car or they could arrange a ride if you need it. It was very nice and right across the street from the huge ruins of Ostia- worth a visit if you have time. We booked the hotel on line and paid in advance by credit card, the only hotel we booked that way. It was $198 for one night- cheaper than anything else in the area.

Try the Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard by Marriott and the Hotel Euro House Fiumicino.
