Hotel near Campo de' Fiori Rome

My husband and I are traveling for the first time to Rome in September spending 4 nights and have decided in the area of Campo de' Fiori. I would like to get suggestions on other hotel options besides the Hotel Smeraldo. Looking at either $ or $$ range. Thank you in advance.

You need to specify your range in Euro (100 euro = US$135). I don't know what $$ or $ mean. The Centro Storico (historical centre) tends to be more expensive and you won't find much under 150 euro. Look up that area hotels in the website below. They usually feature nice facilities in various categories. I use it all the time in Rome and I've always been happy with the choices. Once you decide on one click on "check availability" and the website will redirect you to Booking.com for that facility to check availability and price for that date. If available and in your price range then you can book through Booking.com www.nycerome.com Click on the Campo dei Fiori area on the map (or any area you'd like to check)

Thank you Roberto, the $ and $$ are based on RS guide book. $ = 130 or less euros and $$ = 130-180 euros.

Good morning Mary
We stayed in Campo de Fiori years ago and really enjoyed it. The albergo della Lunetta is where we stayed, but that was back in 1999. We only stay at inexpensive places, they didn't have a lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up marble steps. Staying in the campo gives you access to everything, but it does tend to be noisy (lots of restaurants there and in the mornings, the huge fish/vegetable/fruit/flower market. Hope this helps. Now when we go o Rome, we tend to stay in convents, as they are inexpensive, clean and quiet.
