Hi
We will be returning to Naples from Trani, Puglia to fly home to U.S. We plan to stay overnight Saturday in or near Naples to catch our flight Sunday at noon time. Looking for hotel suggestions with easy access to drop off car. Would also like any ideas of things to do between Trani and Naples. We will have been to Matera the week before. We would liked to use this last day to do some additional touring or just having a good meal with a view.

Naples airport is on the northern boundary of the city, close by, so you can stay anywhere in Naples, no problem.

Would suggest you drop the car at the airport and take a taxi or Alibus into Naples.

We stayed at Partenope Relais in Napoli right down on the waterfront September 2016. Nice place, nice location. Took a cab very early morning to airport ...no problem.

We stayed over night at Hotel Capodachino and it was very, very close to the airport. We didn’t realize how close as we asked the hotel for a taxi early in the morning and it only took five minutes to get there and, I think, they charged E12....or was it E25. I don’t remember! It was an older hotel, but clean and at that time was E70 a night. This was in October, 2016. We were leaving early before the breakfast but they did offer coffee and sweet rolls while waiting for the taxi in the lobby which I thought was a nice gesture. Their breakfasts were very nice and they had a restaurant on the premises with Italian food. We stayed two nights and when we got there, it was around dinner time and the hotel clerk told us to go down the side street and there was a fast food restaurant which was all locals. Food was very good, Then across the street was the most delicious bakery with so many Italian goodies. The rum babas were delicious and so were the sfogliatelle! Matter of fact, it was pastry heaven! Lots of locals there too.
