When I went to their website it showed a picture of the hotel and a message- Opening 2025. Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't know anything about it, but I do hope it does reopen.
We spent four nights there back in 2014 for our 30th anniversary and had the most amazing time in our room with a terrace over the lake. Some friends booked the same room as us for their anniversary two years later and loved it as much as we did.
There is a thread on Trip Advisor from over a year ago stating that the hotel had been sold and was completely closed for renovation.
We are returning to Lake Como for our 40th this year and would have happily stayed there again and were disappointed to find it closed.
We have booked a similar sounding hotel with the same room style with a terrace on the lake, but this time in Varenna, Hotel du Lac.
