Plan to book an airport hotel for early morning flight, looking for convenience to airport but would like to take train into Milan for farewell dinner so close to train station as well. Suggestions for hotel and restaurant would be appreciated.

We have the same situation. I looked into Malpensa area hotels and picked Cardano Hotel Malpensa. They do not have a restaurant but will arrange transportation to and from Quinto Elemento Restaurant which has good reviews. Have not stayed there yet so this is all based on research.
