Hi. Trying this a different way on advice from the board. I am down to these two hotels. Same price for a superior room. Wondering which you would choose and why. We have not been to Rome before so really don't understand the locations. Thx

Since you asked about location, I will comment on that. I haven't stayed at either. Hotel Lunetta is near the Campo de Fiori. Albergo Senato is on the Piazza del Rotunda across from the Pantheon. Both hotels are about the same distance from Piazza Navona. I think either location is good. Both hotels are in an area that is very walkable. In fact, they aren't that far apart. If you haven't already, I'd suggest that you read through the reviews on tripadvisor.com and go with the one that sounds better to you.

Both locations are central and convenient. I looked at the reviews of both places on TA & I would choose Albergo del Senato if the rates are similiar. Some of the reviews of Hotel Lunetta weren't that good whereas most of the reviews of Albergo del Senato were very positive. We will be staying at Albergo del Senato in September and I'm very excited as the location is great & it looks like a nice place.
