Hello, my husband and I will be in Milan for 3-4 days starting 3/12/13. We want to get a hotel near all of the most popular destinations. What area would that be? Can anyone recommend a centrally located hotel for around $125-150 a night? Thanks!

I go to Milan on business fairly often and I really like Hotel Berna. It is near the station and a hop from the Metro. Incredible breakfast, too. It may be a bit more than $150 per night, as Milan is kind of pricey except in mid-winter. Oh, and the bar is great, too. With a glass of wine or a cocktail you get a nice buffet to hold you over to dinner.

joy, I stayed at London Hotel in Milan and would certainly recommend it. The room was very comfortable and it's within easy walking distance to the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele, Sforza Castle and the Metro. Via Dante and some good restaurants are also very close. Their pricing varies from a minimum to maximum, so I'm not sure if it will fit the amounts you stated. As I recall, breakfast was extra, and a bit pricey. Happy travels!
