Hotel in Trastevere Rome

We are headed to Rome this Spring. We need accommodations for 10 people, a family, in Trastevere. A small boutique hotel with breakfast included would be perfect. A common meeting area would be really nice too, like a dining area or lounge.
Our price range would be $150-200 per night. Any suggestions?

hey hey strumfamily5
what are your dates, springtime will be busy with easter, good friday, spring breaks with others just traveling.
are you expecting all 10 people in one place or separate hotel rooms? how many adults/kids with ages, how many beds & sizes, more than one bathroom with your gang, amenities you hope and want, A/C, elevator/lift, stairs/steps with luggage and any mobility issues?
your budget is very low, you can research booking.com, tripadvisor, trivago and look for apartments, family rooms, many places have a maximum of how many people per each room.
looking early helps, see something you like book it with no looking back. good luck & enjoy

April 2026 is a busy month.
April 5 is Easter Sunday
April 6 is Easter Monday (major holiday in Italy)
April 25 is Liberation day (major holiday celebrating end of WW2 and Nazi occupation in Italy).
May 1 is Labor Day throughout Europe.

I checked the Hotel San Francesco in Trastevere, a 3 star hotel I like to stay at and is not too expensive, for 3 days in mid week starting April 13, and they want almost 300€ a night for a room for two people. I don’t see much for under 250€ in Trastevere, and that is a room for double occupancy. 10 people would need at least one room per couple or maybe one room for each 3 persons. Your best bet may be an apartment with AirBnB, however it will not be easy to accommodate 10 people in one apartment, as it would need 4 bedrooms at least. So 10 people in Trastevere should expect to pay at least 800€ ($900) a night. The historical center of Rome is expensive.
