in 2009, my Rick Steves tour stayed at Hotel San Francesco. I remember it being very well located, and the rooms were HUGE!

Friends stsyed in the Xenia Guest House last September and loved it. It is just across the river from Trastevere near the tram line and Campo di Fiori.
