finding many hotels are booked in santa margherita in september.
Looking for nice hotel with ocean view that does not cost 1000 a night..
we are staying 4 nights in monterosso then moving onto santa margherita or open to suggestions.
This is a a resting, beach and eating vacation. we have been to italy before.
open to suggestions, we have not been to porto venere or sestri levante but have been to rapallo and portofino.

Check Camogli also. I use Booking.com.

I see quite a few available for random dates in September that are not $1000/night on booking.com

We will be in Santa Margherita in October and found a fabulous apartment through Air BnB for about $250/night. A fully furnished 2/2 with balcony and ocean views. I have used Air BnB often and have never been disappointed! Ciao :-)
