Looking for a recommendation of a hotel walking distance form the Roma Termini in Rome..
ts,
I normally stay at either Hotel Sonya or Hotel Aberdeen, both of which are within walking distance from Roma Termini. I'd suggest booking well in advance at either one.
Thank you.
Second Ken. Sonya is always our first choice because wife believe that their lattes are better. If they are, it is a very small difference. We have also used Hotel Contilla, just a block south of the side entrance to Termini and across street from a laundry. A little plainer with a so/so breakfast. Contilla tends to be our one night hit when passing through Rome. Aberdeen is two or three blocks further away than the other hotels but with a couple of close restaurants.
PS -- Opps - may need to explain better lattes. At an earlier time we had stayed in Aberdeen a couple of times but one time they were full and that took us to Sonya. We never went back because of those lattes. She is fussy about her lattes. The world turns on the smallest of dimes and lattes.
Thank you
I have stayed at Hotel Aphrodite. It is literally across the street from the Termini. In fact, I have booked it again in May. It met my needs well.
IQ Roma is near the train station. We did take a taxi there as we had luggage but it is close by and a very nice hotel.
Hotel Serena. Good value for the money, decent size rooms and bathrooms, plenty of breakfast choices.

I haven't stayed here but am seriously looking at the Best Western Hotel Canada for a week next summer. Reviews, prices, location and pictures all look positive. It'll be my first hotel in the past 14 years of extended stays in Rome. Gulp!
Been to Rome several times and most recent trip stayed at the Best Western Hotel Canada. It’s very walkable to Termini but maybe not with luggage. It’s a very good hotel.
I have stayed at the Hotel Stella, about a five minute walk from Termini, for many years. It’s reasonable, safe and in a great location.
ts, we stayed at the Dnb Hotel on the Via Cavour, maybe 6-7 minute walk to the Termini. Lovely staff, big rooms, big bathrooms, nice breakfast. Close to some good local restaurants. https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/dnb%20hotel%20rome/entity/CgsIuO7qg-rDjaPzARAB/photos?g2lb=2502405%2C2502548%2C4208993%2C4254308%2C4258168%2C4260007%2C4271059%2C4274032%2C4276710%2C4299259%2C4301054%2C4302814%2C4305595%2C4308216%2C4308226%2C4314846%2C4315873%2C4317915%2C4322164%2C4324293%2C4326405%2C4326764%2C4328159%2C4329288%2C4330862%2C4333267%2C4340071%2C4270859%2C4284970%2C4292955%2C4316256%2C4333108&hl=en&gl=us&un=1&q=dnb%20hotel%20rome&rp=ELju6oPqw42j8wE4AkAASAE&ictx=1&ved=2ahUKEwjEh6iH8fHmAhVNpFkKHV_JAtsQoiowAHoECA4QEQ&hrf=IgNVU0QqFgoHCOQPEAEYDRIHCOQPEAEYDhgBKAA&tcfs=EhoaGAoKMjAyMC0wMS0xMxIKMjAyMC0wMS0xNFIA
We stayed twice at Hotel Residenza Celini. Well appointed rooms, great breakfast, 24 hr staff, AC. Short walk to the Termini.
