Going to be in Rome in May. Anyone have some good recommendations for a place to stay that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Something in the Trastevere neighborhood would be good. Thanks

You could have a look at THIS hotel in Trastevere. It's been a few years since I stayed there, but I found it very comfortable with a great staff.
I normally stay in the Termini station area these days, as it's so very convenient for transportation.

Not in Trastevere, but on a side street near the Colosseum: hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri. They have a website. I pay about €75/single with breakfast.
