any one have names of hotels in rome for under 100 euros and close to town center, will be there ocober 25 to 29 2008 and is that a low season rate
Try Hotel Max. Clean, centrally located, safe, nice people.
End of October is not low season. It's not peak season like early October either, but there are still a lot of travelers that time of year as the weather is still very pleasant.
Try Gulliver's Place or Gulliver's Lodge.
A 100 Euro in the center of Rome is a tough bench mark. Rome is always busy and full. It just that some times it is "more fuller,"
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Residenza Cellini off Piazza della Repubblica in Rome. Great place, great location. But you'll have to spend a bit more than 100 euros in that city for these things. Not plush, but nice, clean, friendly, and well-located.
We loved Gulliver's Place if you can get a room there. Great breakfast in the mornings too and free internet.
www.venere.com should help
thanx for all replies. we have found an apartment in the piazza navona area for $500 for 4 nites which we thought was a great price. it even has a kitchenette with shower and tub and two double beds. so we booked it, and we are gonna have fun before we board our ship for a transatlantic cruise aboard carnival's new ship splendor.
