We have booked all except our last night in Rome. We want a nice place to end our Italian adventure and be able to walk to a good restaurant and take a last look! Any suggestions?

what are your dates, how much in euros is nice and how many people? do you want to stay in city center, train station, how early is flight the next day and what are your last looks you want to see?

We can budget up to 220 euros for the two of us. This will be a Friday, Oct. 5th. I guess we'd like to be able to walk to the Trevi fountain, maybe a last look at the pantheon?? No real plans...just don't want to be out at the airport! We plan to take a taxi in the morning to the airport.

With the metro, walking and Uber/Taxi you'll be able to get to anywhere you want to go easily. We really really enjoy the Hotel Napoleon and their tremendous staff and their location which is 15 steps from their front door to the metro. It's high end place with nice rooms, big buffet breakfast and a wonderful restaurant/bar as well as salon to relax and share a cocktail.

Right around the corner from the Pantheon (1 minute walk) is Grand Hotel de la Minerve. Excellent hotel, but probably out of your range.

I agree that Hotel la Minerve looks fabulous. Nearby is Albergo del Senato which has rooms that overlook the Pantheon. We usually stay at Hotel due Torri which is a short walk from the Pantheon and Navonna. It has the advantage of being walkable to restaurants near the Spanish steps or those around the Pantheon and it would be possible to walk to those in the Campo Fiori area.
