We just returned from Italy and spent six nights at the Lilium Hotel in Rome. It is about a ten minute walk from Termini (although we took several wrong turns the first night and took the long scenic route). We had emailed them before making the reservation and negotiated a little lower price by paying cash. The rooms are small but very clean and charming, and the breakfast was very good. It met our needs very well.
