Yes, yes, yes! We just returned from Italy & we stayed at the Palazzo Olivia apartments, located smack dab in between Piazza Navona & Campo de Fiori. The location could not have been more perfect. Just around the corner are quaint narrow streets full of restaurants & gelaterias (which we frequented every night). The apartment was also less than 20 feet from Corso Vittorio Emmanuele which is a main street. The bus stops were very close as was a taxi stand. The apartment was centrally located but it's on a quiet lane so we didn't experience any noise at night. It had a little kitchen, A/C (which we did use) & a ceiling fan in the bedroom too. It also had an elevator (which not all hotels or apartments have) which made it very easy to get our luggage to our 3rd floor apartment. The web-site is: http://www.palazzo-olivia.it/

We stayed at the Navona Gallery Suites this year, loved it!!! Great location in the hustle and bustle but the room was incredibly quiet.

Kelle,
My wife and I just flew back from Rome last week. We stayed in an apartment overlooking Campo De Fiori. It was great! I found it on Craigslist...I was a little hesitant at first, but Giuseppe was very professional. He manages many apartments in Rome and can get you a location just about anywhere. We paid 115 Euro a night...very cheap for the location and how nice the apartment was.

we just returned Sept 22. We stayed near Navona - in a new B&B named Palazzo del Duca. Paulo and staff are great. It is a short walk to everything. Just below we also had what we were told by "Roman's is "the best pizza in Rome".

Hello Kelle,

My wife and I stayed at a wonderful place near Piazza Navona this past June. Well, actually we stayed at two places. Luciano Pascucci operates a wonderful B & B as well as an apartment (with is around the corner from his B & B. We spent 3 nights in his apartment and then one night in his B & B 7 days later the night before we flew back home. The apartment and B & B are both very quiet and is very close to many sights. 5 minute walk to Piazza Navona, 15 minutes to the Vatican, and 15 minutes to the Pantheon.

Luciano and his wife Maria have their B & B in their living quarters. what you get is their wonderful hospitality as well as their 3 cats! If his B & B is reserved, then he may have room in his apartment around the corner. It has 1 bedroom, a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a nice sitting area (which also serves as the entrance).

When we arrived in Rome, we took a cab to his B & B. Luciano took us to the apartment, showed us where things were, gave us a map to help us with local restaurants, and even took us on a short tour to a local grocery store. it was sooooo nice to have Luciano take us "under his wing". Also his breakfasts were very enjoyable. The conversation each morning was a great way to start our day. He helped us with transportation issues and even called the Borghese Gallery for us in order to secure a reservation.

Here is a link to his website. My wife and I would go back there in a heartbeat. There are several reviews on the ripadvisor website.

I second Roger's recommendation. It's a sweet little hotel, lovely breakfasts and we had a large and well-appointed room. We did have trouble finding it, however, so ask for explicit directions. Oh, and the shops just close by are very interesting and unusual.

Kelle, we stayed in an apartment in Piazza Navona last week, apartment 029 Navona - Tor di Nona, we reserved it with www.b-b.rm.it/index.php. The location was excellent, the apartment was nice well equipped and quiet at night. The booking agency was excellent and quick to respond back.
Have fun!
