If anyone has a suggestion for a hotel in Padua for 1 night, would you mind passing along the info? I am trying to avoid the general websites for hotels with thousands of listings since we are only staying for one night. We would like something charming yet simple, but not too plain. Thank you!

Hotel al Fagiano. Smallish, Mom and Pop place with funky, colorful artwork everywhere. Right on the tram line and a block from St. Anthony's (if you stay there, be prepared to hear the bells early, late and often). There is AC if that is a consideration.

Do you have the RS Italy book? I'm pretty sure he has several sleeping recommendations for Padova.
