My husband loves a soaking tub (not jacuzzi). Are there any hotels in Milan that have rooms with soaking tubs? In a reasonable price range…$500 a night USD? I’d love to surprise him.
I’m not sure the Rick Steves’ forum is the best place to find advice on that type of accommodations since most of us here are incurable cheapskates, but you can easily search for that stuff online.

love this reply Roberto!
If you can stretch your budget a bit the Grand Hotel et de Milan is wonderful. Request a room with a tub when you reserve. You are within walking distance of the Duomo, La Scala, Galleria and smack in the middle if the fashion district. Book Paper Moon for dinner! And start planning on tickets for The Last Supper-we wound up taking a tour ($$) as all efforts to snag standard tickets failed. . BTW, the Naviglia area was a great place for a food tour.
Thank you all for these replies. In particular, Alan, your answer has many great nuggets of information! Appreciate this.
Last September we spent two nights at the Grand Visconti Palace Hotel, https://www.grandviscontipalace.com/. It's near the Porta Romana, so not as centrally located as Alan's recommendation but still walking distance to most places. The rooms are quite large and ours had a huge tub. I don't know if that is standard so if interested you might want to double check.
Probably not in a reasonable price range, but the Park Hyatt Milan has soaking tubs. It's right at the Galleria/Duomo.
