No, but i stayed at IL Bargellino on Via Guelfa, you can walk to it from Santa Maria Novella stazione. It is very close to the train station. You can contact them directly on their website. It is family owned and operated. The wife is also a Bostonian and speaks English. Turn right as you leave the front door and go to the end of Via Guelfa, there are 2 coffee shops on Via Guelfa near the corner who knew how to satisfy my craving for big cups of strong American style coffee and took pleasure in doing so. Turn right again on Via Nazionale and walk a block or so until you see L' Brincello across the street, a family run ristorante that makes EVERYTHING homemade, Enfatta in Casa, i thought the best ristorante in Firenze, delicious cibo, great family and staff, and the best cooks in Firenze. There's a supermercato on Via Nazionale and a Verdura shoppe on Via Guelfa who sold the most luscious grapes ever. A great Hood!

cheri,

I'm not familiar with the hotels you mentioned, but you might have a look at Katti House which is also within an easy walk from Firenze SMN.

When is your trip taking place?

Happy travels!
