Hotel guided tours in Rome

Would anyone know of a good hotel in Rome which does its own guided tour? Budget around $200 a night?

I have never heard of a hotel offering it's own tours. There are plenty of guided tours available in Rome. Why are you specifically looking for one offered by a hotel?

I assume you want a hotel where a concierge will book a tour for you, giving it the hotel's stamp of approval and saving you the trouble of finding a tour on your own. Most good hotels will do so. We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel de Minerve and they gladly did so. The hotel is also a few steps from the Pantheon and quite beautiful, making it a prime choice for a good place to stay in Rome we thought.

We just got back from Rome. Our hotel, Albergo del Senato, on the Pantheon Square offered to book a guide, but didn't have one on staff that I know of. I believe Angel Tours offered a free tour of Pantheon at 6:30 every night...Google Angel Tours, Rome.

Realize that when you have the hotel book things for you they add a service charge to it. We had out hotel book a transfer from the airport to the hotel on our first trip years ago and found that they added about 25 euros to the price we would have paid if we had arranged it ourselves. As said above, there are many good tour companies that offer tours of the city. Just check the web and sites like TripAdvisor to find one that fits your needs. You'll save a lot of money and may even find out other things you didn't know. donna
