Hotel Giardino Rome

I've never heard of the hotel, but it apparently claims it is RS recommended. Is that the one? The one on the Via XXIV Maggio? If so, on their splash screen it lists two telephone numbers: +39 06 6794584 and +39 06 6794997 Have you tried calling them? Remember that when it is noon in Houston it is 7 pm in Rome. Thanks for the reply Nigel. My husband has tried the 2 numbers and is unable to get any answer. I actually booked this hotel in January not april. I am not sure what to do at this point we need a hotel in September.

Until you sort it out, book a backup that can be easily cancelled. These things happen.

We stayed at this hotel in October 2008. We were given the room right across from the reception desk and were a little worried it might be noisy, but had no problems. The breakfast was great. It is well located for the sights, and we walked from the train station with our RS convertible backpacks (about a kilometre -.6 mile) bot the bus stops just at the end of the street.

I think that the two Franks may have the answer. I hope you didn't give them a lot of money. I was just coming to a similar conclusion, or that the number had changed, because I dial Italy a lot and took a punt with the numbers they gave - both of which went to dead lines. Sorry, but it looks like you won't be staying with them. Would you like some suggestions for comparable hotels that may have room for you? What price bracket is it, how many in your party, etc.?
