My wife and I plan to get the train from Florence to Venice on October 20th. We have chosen to stay in Hotel Galleria based on some good recommendations from this site. Vaporetto to the Accademia stop, get off there; take the sidewalk to the L of the Accademia, and then the first L turn- the hotel is that close (some of the rooms are on the Grand Canal. When you make your reservation, they'll send you specific directions.
